No. 3 Fayetteville State Faces No. 6 Indiana PA in Atlantic Region Tournament

Fairmont, WV – The NCAA Division II Atlantic Region Tournament bracket has been set with No. 3 Fayetteville State University (27-2) matching up against No. 6 Indiana University of Pennsylvania (21-7) on the campus of Fairmont State University.
 
The opening round of the NCAA DII Tournament is set for Friday, March 15. The semifinals take place the next day on Saturday, March 16, ahead of the regional championship on Monday, March 18.
 
Mountain East Conference (MEC) champion Fairmont State (26-5) is the No. 2 seed and will host half of the regional. They will face No. 7 West Chester (24-6) in a quarterfinal at 5:00 p.m. in the Feaster Center (Joe Retton Arena). The Broncos vs. IUP quarterfinal will follow at 7:30 p.m.
 
Tickets are available online via Fairmont State's Home Town Tickets. Patrons can purchase day tickets at $15 each or quarterfinal and semifinal packages at $25.
 
NCAA Digital has partnered with Hudl to utilize the Hudl platform to stream all eligible games from the 2024 Division II Women's Basketball Championship, including the regionals. All games will be webcast on www.ncaa.com, the Hudl platform, and an OTT app – "NCAA Championships Pass."
 
Fans will have three viewing options: $9.95 per contest, $29.95 for all Division II Women's Basketball Championship games excluding the semifinals and championship game, and $49.95 for all Division II Women's and Men's Basketball Championship games, excluding the semifinals and championship games.
 
Fayetteville State, who has won a total of five conference titles, has participated in eight regional tournament games with two of them being semifinal games. FSU's last participation was in 2010 but it earned a berth in the 2020 tournament before its cancelation.
 
The IUP Crimson Hawks won regional titles in 2018 and 2019, also earning the No. 1 seed in the 2020 tournament. This season, IUP awaited its tournament fate after a 57-54 setback to California (Pa.) on March 6 in the PSAC Quarterfinals.
 
Both the Gannon University's men's and women's teams earned the number one seed in the Atlantic Region. Gannon (32-2) will host a split regional and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) champion will face No. 8 seed West Virginia State University (21-10) in the quarterfinals while No. 4 seed Lock Haven (28-3) will oppose No. 5 California University of Pennsylvania (23-8).
