NAME: Destiny Ryles

Destiny Ryles is your Player of the Week amassing 60 points, 16 steals, 15 assists, and 13 rebounds across three games. Ryles leads the Bulldogs in 20.2 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.8 steals per game. She also ranks first in the conference in both points and steals. Highlighting her dominant week, Ryles scored 20 points, five assists, and recorded a season-high eight steals in a victory over Claflin, the conference's top-ranked defense. 

NAME: Jasmine Jenkins
INSTITUTION: Bluefield State University 
POSITION: Guard
CLASS: Junior
HOMETOWN: Charleston, S.C.

Jasmine Jenkins delivered an outstanding performance this week, showcasing her versatility and leadership on the court. Leading the Big Blue to a 1-1 record, Jasmine posted back-to-back impressive stat lines that highlight her impact on both ends of the floor.

In the first game, Jasmine poured in 27 points on efficient 12-22 shooting, grabbed 10 rebounds, and collected 4 steals, proving to be a force offensively and defensively. She followed up with another stellar showing in the second game, scoring 21 points on 8-14 shooting, pulling down 9 rebounds, dishing out 4 assists, and again registering 4 steals.

Jasmine’s all-around performance was instrumental for the team this week, and her consistency and effort make her a deserving candidate for Player of the Week honors.

CLASS: Freshman
HOMETOWN: Brooklyn, N.Y.

Maia Charles- 5 pts vs UNCP, she went 2-2 from the field with 1 block vs Claflin, tonight vs Adelphi she had a huge presence, she finished with 18 pts, went 6-7 from the FT line, had 3 rebs, 1 steal, and 1 assist and was a key factor in the win tonight.
