Fuquay-Varina, NC - Lincoln (Pa.) quarterback Isaiah Freeman has been named HBCU National Player of the Week by BOXTOROW.
Freeman, a sophomore from Chester, Pa., compiled 431 yards of total offense and was responsible for four touchdowns in the Lions' 30-27 victory over Winston-Salem State. He completed 23-of-38 passes for 278 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions including the game-winning eight-yard touchdown pass to Dah'mear Triplett with :15 remaining. He also rushed 21 times for 153 yards, averaged 7.3 yards per carry and one touchdown.
