RALEIGH, NC – Shaw University and Saint Augustine's University will jointly host the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Volleyball Round-Up Saturday, Oct. 8 through Sunday, Oct. 9 in Spaulding Gymnasium (Shaw) and Emery Gymnasium (St. Aug).

The round-up, the final of two scheduled this season, will feature all 12 membered institutions of the CIAA, featuring the CIAA Southern Division which includes Fayetteville State, Claflin, Johnson C. Smith, Winston-Salem State, Livingstone and Saint Augustine's along with Bowie State, Elizabeth City State, Lincoln (PA) Virginia State, Virginia State, Shaw and Virginia Union that make up the Northern Division.

The CIAA conducts up to two volleyball round-ups a season. The first round-up was hosted by Bowie State on September 24 and September 25.

These round-ups are instrumental tune-ups in advance of the 2022 CIAA Volleyball Tournament, which is slated for November 8-12th with the semifinals and championship game at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, VA.
