Raleigh, NC - Kristene Kelly was appointed to the position of
Associate Athletic Director at Saint Augustine’s College on
Jan. 5, 2009.
Kelly also joined the college’s faculty in the Department of
Human Performance and Wellness. Her responsibilities will include
assisting Athletic Director George Williams in providing oversight
and supervision in the areas of staffing, team travel, planning and
academics; developing the budgets and departmental policies; and
serving as sports supervisor for men’s basketball, softball,
bowling and baseball; and sports information and compliance.
Kelly received a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts Degree
from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, NC, and a Master of
Science Degree in Sports Management from the University of
Tennessee. She is currently finishing requirements for a Doctoral
of Education Degree at the United States Sports Academy.
Kelly is married to Jonathan Sr., and together they have a
five-year old son Jonathan, Jr.
