December 19, 2008
Lawrenceville, VA: Saint Paul's College Women's and Men's Basketball teams started the Christmas cheer early by providing an enthusiastic Saint Paul's Day Care Center child a personally packaged shoe box gift. Held in the Thomason student Center, the event was complete with carol singing, eats and drinks.

The shoe box activity was coordinated by Serena King-Coleman, Senior Woman Administrator for Saint Paul's College. "Everyone needs to participate in a little bit of holiday fun. This was a great opportunity for our athletes to give back and to help present Saint Paul's in a positive light throughout the Community," stated Mrs. King-Coleman.
This is the second activities scheduled by the Saint Paul's College Athletic Department to coincide with its community outreach initiative. The goal of the initiative is to infuse Saint Paul's athlete's professionalism with civic responsibility.
