VSU TO HOST CIAA SPRING SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Virginia State University in Ettrick, Va., will be the site of the 2008 CIAA Spring Sports Championships beginning on Wednesday, April 16.
Championships in baseball, softball, golf, men's tennis, women's tennis and track & field will all be decided on the VSU campus and surrounding locales.
The 2008 CIAA Men's and Women's Tennis Tournament begins at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16, at the VSU Tennis Courts.
The Baseball Tournament will be played at Colbert Field on the VSU campus.
The CIAA Softball Tournament will begin at the Petersburg Sports Complex and then move to the VSU Softball Field for the semi-finals and championship game.
The CIAA Golf Championship will be held at the Cardinal Golf Course in Fort Lee, Va.
The 2008 CIAA Track & Field Championship will be staged in Rogers Stadium.
