After a stellar outdoor track and field season for the VSU Trojans, under the direction of head coach Wilbert Johnson, three Trojans will be competing at the 2018 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship. The championship will be held in Charlotte, NC, on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University, from May 24-26.

With ongoing construction at the Hotel DuPont, "Tennis in the Streets" moved cross-town this year from its longstanding Rodney Square.
