Murfreesboro, NC – The NCAA Institute for Administrative Advancement in partnership with the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA) selected Charlotte Dinkins to attend the event in Atlanta, Ga. on June 3-6.
I am excited and honored to have been selected to participate in this professional development," stated Dinkins. "I believe it is vital to network with other administrators in your field. These events are where you start to build long term friendships."
This Institute was created to provide professional development and networking opportunities for administrators of color, as well as those of color aspiring to be administrators.
The primary purpose is to provide the selected participants from under-represented populations with a unique experience to learn more about themselves as administrators, gain additional skills and tools to grow within their current roles and leave better prepared to advance into more senior administrative roles. Most importantly, participation in the Institute will encourage mentorship to the next generation of administrators and coaches of color who consider athletics as their professional destination.
The 2018 NCAA Institute is scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Ga., at the Hyatt Regency hotel, June 3-6, in conjunction with the NCAA Regional Rules Seminar. This opportunity will be provided to no more than 30 individuals.
