VSU and FSU Top the CIAA in Academic Success Rate and Federal Graduation Rate

Charlotte, NC (November 13, 2017) – The NCAA national office announced the NCAA Division II Academic Success Rate (ASR) and Federal Graduation Rate (FGR) data for the 2007-10 cohort for all NCAA Division II institutions on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.

Within the CIAA, Virginia State University had the highest Academic Success Rate in the conference at 81 percent. Fayetteville State University and Virginia State University were tied with the highest Federal Graduation Rate in the conference at 58 percent.

Academic success is a staple of the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Conference. The CIAA member institutions continue to demonstrate their focus on the importance of success both academically and athletically.
